Programs Requiring Admin rights

When I try to play music online, some songs doesnt play and give the error
message, "this action requires the administrator rights". Now what is this
uppose to mean? I am the only user on my Laptop, and I m the one who logs in
as Administrator.

Hello,

are you the user called "Administrator" or a user with administrative
privileges?
If the latter, you have to know that in Vista programs have to ask for
administrative rights (which is more secure because not every program has
all rights then). If you want to specify administrative rights to a program,
start it by right-clicking it, and choosing "Run as administrator".

The question you need to ask yourself is "Why does playing a music file from
a website require me to give that file or program unrestricted access to my
entire computer". This is exactly what you are doing if you give that file
administrative privileges.

I would check with whoever runs that website/program why this is happening.
