I got a new notebook with only 512MB ram, I was wondering can I move the
pagefile to the other drive like I did with my pc?
Thanks

Hi Debbie,

Moving it is only useful if moved to a second physical internal drive. A
different volume on the same drive would be counterproductive. Throughput to
an external drive would likely be too slow. Most notebooks do not have the
room for two physical drives.

You can defrag the page file using something like PerfectDisk. That can
improve performance somewhat.
