Question on the upgrade for a system with two disk drives

Posted: 01-29-2007, 05:31 AM
I'm wondering if you can get around having a sloppy install over an existing
XP partition by telling Vista to install on the second blank hard drive and
somehow setting up the boot partition on the second drive then removing the
1st drive from the mix? Maybe ghosting the fist drive, then deleting just
about everything from the second drive but the boot goodies, when install
Vista on it, then copying over the modified boot.ini from the first drive?
