How much does the Tyan mobo support? Are all four sticks exactly identical?

that the board supports

I believe that you may need to use the /3gb switch in the boot.ini
file if you have more than 3 gb of RAM with Windows XP but the
documentation on this is very scanty at present.

Be careful using the /3GB switch as well.
It can prevent your computer from booting.

You have to ensure your previous RAM is compatible
with the new RAM. And that it's compatible with
your motherboard.
Have a look at the memory configurators

help to find the right RAM for
your specific make and model PC.
Visit more then one and make sure they match.
