The new RC-1 version which is out for everyone. Does anyone know how much
disk space the 64 bit version uses after installing?

windows directory 11.6 gigs
program files .491
program files x86 .024
-----------------------------------
roughly 12.331 gigs

My Windows directory weighs in at just under 11Gigs.

My XP Pro setup on my AMD Athlon 900 computer with Office 2003, Nero 7
Ultra, WinDVD, System Restore and paging file and numerous other
applications checks in at about 6 gigabytes total on a 20 GB hard drive.

I too am awaiting RC1 DVD and have just received a reply to an email to MS
advising me that RC1 DVD will start shipping on 25th September 06. I don't
know where you live but I am UK based. Hope this helps.
