RC-1 Installation Failure - Graphics Card Problem

Repeated efforts to install RC-1 have failed. The upgrade advisor tells me to
"update [my] graphics card" to enjoy the Aero experience. However, I have
been runing Beta 2 and experiencing Aero with my GeForce 5200 card. The Beta
works just fine. I swapped graphics cards and get the same "advice" with a
GeForce 6600 card. If I proceed with the installation in spite of the
"advice," the installation hangs on the first reboot and goes nowhere. Can
anyone suggest a solution?
