RC1: Cyberlink Power DVD 7 Deluxe

Posted: 09-13-2006, 01:46 PM
I really like Power DVD on my old XP for playing DVD's--its probably the best
program around for that, in my opinion. And before I pay them another 80
bucks, I was wondering if ANYONE has successfully installed the latest Power
DVD 7 Deluxe on RC1 64 bit or 32 bit?

You can download a trial version from the website. That way you can make
sure it works on your setup

Before paying out more money, I really suggest checking out VLC player. It's
freeware, and plays pretty much anything. I've been using it for just over a
year and I couldn't do without it now

Thanks, I'll look into it. I downloaded the PowerDVD 7.o trrial version on
both my 32 bit laptop and 64bit desltop, and it workls fine on both. I'm
leaning toward dishing out the money for the Power DVD, because they are
offering good HD-DVD/BluRay support (granted its still a few months away, and
its extra $) and I want my systems to be able to run one or the other or both
at some point . . .
