Download worked for me using the Akami Download Manager, just finished the
download approx. 15 minutes ago.

Lee, have had the same problem without explanation. Beginning to wonder if
the URL for the earthlink satellite (in my case), which has a daily
restriction on the amount of download, has something to do with it. In which
case, there is no solution.

I have just noticed that the CPP program is now open again and the
download size is quoted as being 3GB for the 32 bit version and 4GB for 64
bit. Does anyone know why when I downloaded RC1 as I was an original CPP
participant the download was 2.52GB for 32 bit and 3.5GB for 64 bit. Am I
missing something and have to download again?

You don't need to download again, the file sizes that you have are correct.
Perhaps whoever amended the webpage didn't have the exact sizes to hand, and
rounded up to the nearest GB
