Default RC1 Install - Why NOW!

Having ditched 5308 as too much of a pain after a few weeks I have
been waiting for RC1 to turn up, I also had a 5566 Pre RC1 a couple of
weeks back but decided to wait. Then I got fed up waiting and put 5536
on my test box day before yesterday.

And after setting it up etc I check here only to find RC1 is now
available.

BUGGER!

Anyway 5536 is a vast improvement IMO, had no issues or problems. Even
UAC lasted nearly an hour before I disabled it so it must be a lot
better. Overall very nice, I am impressed, this is looking like
something I could actually use in anger after SP1 comes out of course
but I have gone to Suse as my primary OS now so I won't be buying a
lot of copies to replace XP just the one will do.

Downloading RC1 now, should I bother putting it in or is 5536 near
enough?

Ta

Please use RC1. If you file bug reports it makes it easier on you and MS if
you are filing bugs on the current build, and there are some more
improvements over 5536.

Also, according to the email receieved with pre-rc1, it is not possible to
upgrade from pre-rc1 to rc1, tho upgrades from beta2 to pre-rc1 as well as
rc1 are possible. Now that you have pre-rc1 on your system, the only option
you have right now is a fresh install.
