This has happened four times using disks created at x2 and x1 on a Dell
9150 with a D950 and 3 Gig Ram, currently running Dual Boot XP Pro and
RC1 x86 with no apparent problems.
Doing a clean install to a fresh 80Gig partition.
Install starts, allows me to enter Product Key, then thinks for a short
while (10 secs) and gives me the following Error:
"Windows cannot open the required file G:\sources\Install.wim. Make sure
all files required for installation are available and restart the
installation. Error code 0x8007000D."
I double checked the disk and the file required is available (all 2.2Gb
plus of it), I downloaded a second and third copy of the ISO and burned
them at x2 and x1 all give me the same error.
x64 Beta 2 installed without problems.
Any ideas/pointers
Will try on a separate machine tomorrow to see if its a problem with the
disk/s
Charlie
