Reading DVD-RAM UDF disks on XP

Posted: 11-02-2003, 08:22 PM
I recently picked up a DVD burner and installed it on
my desktop unit "runnin win 98". I backed up a ton o stuff
and expected to transfer the data to another machine
runnin XP home. I soon found out that XP doesn't use UDF
to read this type of disk and basicly I'm screwed or maybe
not with some help here. I am hearing horror stories from
other users that have the same prob.

Thanks
JP

Don't know why it is a horror story. You should just need to install a UDF
reader. Google it.
