Real Player question

Posted: 01-22-2005, 07:13 PM
Hi - I would like to be able to play my university lectures away from my
computer - - - like having them on a walkman, CD player or whatever else is
available. They are played through Real Player (with the file extension
*.ram). Can I do this? I tried loading them on my work computer but I
couldn't because the IT department has disabled Real Player and Windows
Media Player - is there also a workaround for this? :-(

You can download some software to convert them to another format or burn
them to an audio D.

Isn't that a streaming format? Standard RealAudio files are .ra. RealPlayer
Plus 10.5 can record from the system mixer.
