| I have downloaded the latest drivers for my onboard sound (realtek ac97) for use with vista (5384)but cant get any windows sounds to work!! any game i install from my Starwars collection tells me i aint got no sound hardware installed!! however media player is playin my cd's and mp3's no probs Any ideas??? | Guest

| These have been problematical drivers for at least a month. A new x86 driver just showed up in my WU optional updates and it works like a charm. Before that, nada.
