Reccording DOS output to a text file

Works OK for me with UAC turned off..

Try this one:

Dir > c:\users\your name\documents\text.txt

in my case that would be:
Dir > c:\users\ko\documents\text.txt

so \your name\ should be the name you used to setup Vista.
