Invest in Goldwave (
http://www.goldwave.com) to record them in wav format,
get rid of the tape hiss and normalise the sound.
Invest in Nero (
http://www.ahead.de/en/index.html#download) to burn the
CD's. I would advise against using the XP CD burning service, its not that
good. If you buy Nero, you'll need to do the following :
right click My Computer > Manage > Services and Applications > Services >
disable IMAPI CD Burning COM Service.
