Recovery console took out my Administrator's user profile

Posted: 12-21-2003, 11:32 PM
Hello. My system has been unstable and I tried using the
recovery console for the first time. It asked for a
password and I don't have a password activated on my
system. Nevertheless, it asked for it three times and
then I had to reboot. When I did reboot, I found that my
regular Administrator account was not showing and was not
accessible; only the Guest account showed up. I have
since created another computer administrator's account
but it is useless as all my previous settings and
practically all my files and programs are now hidden from
access. I can't even access my music files. I ask for any
help that someone may have regarding this peculiar
recovery console mishap. Thank you.

Best regards,

Dean
