| I assume you will be dual booting win 2k and xp? If so you need to install win 2k first followed by win xp. The win 2k cd is a bootable cd, so reformatting is the same as win xp. The instructions for reformatting are available on my website: www.freelanceit.glowinternet.com click the Win XP faq button and look for reformatting your hard drive with xp. The site is experiencing problems at the moment with the headers on each page so you may need to press the 'back' button on your browser to get back to the home page or faq table of contents. During installation, and before you reformat, you will have the opportunity to create an extra partition if you so wish. The information for this comes on the windows 2k or xp screen just after you have selected the drive to install windows. But please look at the information on the setup screen and read it carefully.
