Refreshing the read of the Floppy A: drive

I am having a problem with my computer (Using Windows XP)
reading the A: drive. The first time I open the A: drive
(under MY Computer) I see the files that are on the
disk. When I change the disks (having closed My
Computer) and then go back in to view the files on A:, it
is giving me the file index from the very first disk
instead of the current disk in A:. Any ideas on what I
can do or reset to get the computer to refresh its view
of the A: drive.
