Regarding sound .. Is it possible to ...

....configure sound settings to be different with different programs?

I use a program called Total Recorder to play music from iTunes across an
xbox 360 extender to my television speakers. It works fine for that purpose,
but if I have something on my computer that I want to play thru my computer
speakers, it doesn't sound right unless I manually configure the sound output
to use the built-in RealTek sound card (instead of Total Recorder).

I want to know if there is anything I can do to have the Total Recorder
program be used automatically if I am playing music across the extender but
use the other sound output if playing something on the computer.

Thanks
