| I am having problems with system not shutting down. I disabled all the startup programs, reset BIOS defaults, checked drivers and set the power scheme to always on. I have windows XP home edition. Is there anything else i can do except going in for a reinstall. I cleared all the event logs and tried to shutdown. When i started the system back on the only error message under the application section of the event viewer is regcon.exe has caused an application hang. | Guest
