Default Registry Editing

Hi,
I log on to Vista as Administrator and tried to change permission to
a Registry key. I got error "Unable to change permission on LEGACY_...
Access is denied". I had no problem to do such an action on Windows XP.

Default RE: Registry Editing

Hello,
What is the exact key that you are trying to modify?
Some registry keys are now considered protected so they have acls that
limit modications to trusted installers.
Thanks,
