to reinstall widows home

If you have a legal copy of WinXP Home AND the Product Key, you can install
from that bootable CD. Just set your BIOS to boot 1st from the CD, choose
Format and Install when the option comes up on your screen and it will WIPE
OUT all data on that HDD and install WinXP Home.

If you have any data that you value, you will need to save it to some
removable media (Zip, Jaz, CD, etc.) PRIOR to doing the above.

You can NOT downgrade from WinXP Pro to WinXP Home without wiping out the
HDD and doing a "clean install".
