REmote Desktop Connection problem

Posted: 10-25-2006, 10:43 AM
Hi

I am able to remotely access my company server through XP's Remote Desktop
Connection.

I've recent installed Windows Vista RC1, and for some reason RDC doesn't
seem to work.

When I try to connect, first I get a 'Windows Security' box saying 'Looking
for credential tiles...', then another box appears, saying 'Remote Desktop
Connection has stopped working'. After that all I can do is close the
program. I've taken a screen dump of the error message, but can't work out
how to post it here.

Can anyone help me sort this out please?

Thanks

Does the user account on the PC have a password? That is a requirement. The
user account and password are local to the PC you want to login on with
Remote Desktop.
