Remote Fax/Credentials

I am trying to use one fax modem on a networked computer
in Windows XP. The help instructs to set up the fax
printer that is on the server as a printer on my machine.
When I try to do so I get an error that the credentials
supplied conflict with an existing set of credentials.
How do I fix this?

One More Thing

The other thing that might help is that when I go to set
up the fax printer, it lets me pick a user, but the only
user available is Guest - my account is not selected, and
the user pull down selection is greyed out.
