RemoteAccess device IRDA8-1

Posted: 10-25-2003, 11:42 PM
In the event viewer of windows XP PRO. There is a event
stating that the remote access device has made its
connection to the internet. What dose this mean? I do not
have a IRDA8-1 DEVICE. What type of device is this? An
why is this device being used to connect to the internet
from my computer? Is there a Hacker using my user's
profile? I do not have the remote desk top enable at all,
or the remote access. I do not use any Infra red devices
at all. What could this be, and why is this device using
my computer to connect to the internet???....I've checked
the device manager, and the hardware profiles for this
device is not listed. What is this device IDRA8-1
(RemoteAccess)?
