I have no need of mobsync.exe. All it does is thrash my HD.
I've turned off all offline file caching I can find for IE7 and my
Lan. But it still keeps popping up. I have a 2 machine network.
XP SP2 on one machine, Vista Home Pemium 32 bit on the other.
I notice that when I right click the shared folder for the XP
machine in my Vista Network explorer page and click Properties, the
check box to "index this file for faster searching" keep becoming
checked. I have indexing disabled on both machines and keep
unchecking this box. But it keeps getting reset. Sync Center
show no partnerships at all.
Can I just delete the mobsync.exe CLSIDs in the registry
and delete mobsync or will I get stupid pop-up dialogs?
This is really annoying since often during a defrag mobsync
will pop up and beat up my HD for no reason.
Anyone have a solution? All the stuff on google refers
to either XP or Win2K.
