Right click icon on Desktop | Right click | Copy |
Right click Start button | Explore All Users |
Navigate to where icon belongs | Right click | Paste

Drag'n'drop the icon back on the Start button and so on, then disable
dragging and dropping.

Disabling dragging and dropping in the Start Menu also disables right
clicking in the Start Menu.
