You can download this free software to batch resize:
http://irfanview.com/
Very versatile software to work with photos including resizing.
You can also use the free Image resizer here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p.../powertoys.asp
With this, once you download and install the file you can right click on a
photo (or a group of selected photos) and a window will open to resize them.
This will then add new resized files in your folder, same original file name
with the word (small) added to it.
When you use this for the first time, if you don't see Resize image on the
right click menu, do the following:
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the opening textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...

go to Microsoft Office Tools and use the program Picture
it. It should help you edit your picture and you could
resize when you ready to print the picture.

I guess you're running WinXP or you wouldn't
be here...right?

OK, go to the following link and download and
install: ImageResizer.exe

http://tinyurl.com/36n

Then you can open any folder that contains
images and you will have an option to resize.
Just right click the selected image files and
choose Resize Pictures from the menu. You
can select one image or a whole group.

The program will place the resized copies in
the folder with your originals.
(Tip: *Never* overwrite your originals)

BTW...when resizing if you go to...Advanced
Button / Custom...and enter 640 in each field...
that will be a good size for e-mail purposes.
And should easily be below 100kb.
