resolution reminder while playing games

i loaded my battle for middle earth game and when it is done loading i get a
screen resolution reminder that pops up onmy screen. how do i get my computer
to stop displaying the screen reminder? its really aggravating because it
takes up a whole corner of the screen.

This notice is likely being generated by the monitor itself, not Windows.
They usually have an option to disable it in the monitor options menu using
the monitor controls, consult the manual.
