Roxio and Right click crash

I have had this problem recently when I right click on
something on the start menue or in some programs. The
pop up menue does not come up and system hangs and the
hour glass spins. The only way to break the cycle is to
use the task manager to restart. This first started about
two weeks ago when I installed a cable modem. Prior to
that point everyting was working fine. Since then I have
reinstalled Windows XP pro and all of my applications.
Again, everything worked fine until I installed Roxio
Easy CD version 6.11, then the same system hang happened.
(Note I was using version 5 of Easy CD when I installed
the cable modem). When I uninstalled Easy CE 6.11 and
restored my system to a point several days ago,
everything works fine. Does anyone have any thoughts?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I thought that the
music folks would have some experience with this issue if
it is related to Easy CD, and there does not seem to be a
forum for quirky system glitches. If it is not the
correct forum please let me know where I should look.
