RPG on VISTA

Can anyone recommend a good RPG that works on VISTA?

Preferably one that does not take a million hours to finish.

MMO or offline RPG?
If you want a good MMO, try Dark Age of Camelot or World of Warcraft. DAoC
has the best PvP system and WoW is just fun hehe.
About offline ones, I like Dungeon Siege 2 and Fable. Can't wait for Fable
2.

If it doesn't take a million hours to finish then it is not a true RPG.
But there is one that was just released recently that is getting good
reviews and is probably more to your liking - The Witcher.

That does look kindda fun... Damn too many games.

I'll throw my hat in for Eldar Scrolls 3 or 4 (Morrowind or Oblivion), and
if you want to play a good RPG find a copy of Planescape: Torment. (Well he
said "a good RPG that works on VISTA", I mean John, any RPG that's come out
in the last 10 years probably runs in Vista, maybe you could narrow it down
with like, "I prefer action RPGs released this year.", or "I'm looking for
something strategy based Sci-Fi RPGs within the last 5 years." Come on,
throw us a bone here)

How about any conspiracy or government RPG's that came out in the last few
years?

Another n00b question, do all RPG's require a joystick or game controller?

No, none do on the PC. They are best played with a mouse and keyboard
even if they do support a gamepad. Oblivion supports a gamepad but it
plays much better with mouse/keyboard.

As for government conspiracy RPG's the closest would be DeusEx but that
is an old game now.

If you like StarWars then you would probably like Knights of the Old
Republic. That should run on Vista fine but check it out to make sure first.

If your system can handle it, Oblivion is pretty nice. Not super long,
but it looks great, is fun, and runs great on Vista.

Deus Ex may be an "old game", but it's still a great game. Don't let it's
age fool ya. I was trying to come up with a kind of game, and totally forgot
that one. System Shock 2 isn't bad, though not so much really government, as
raving lunatic computer AI bitch. F.E.A.R. had a twinge of government
conspiracy, but that's a FPS game. Still fun though.

KoToR had one of the best forehead smacks i've ever performed in any RPG.
Excellent storytelling, please don't miss this game.

Not long? I have 150 hours+ in Oblivion, but you can finish it in 20 if you
don't suffer from OCD.
