I have a program that needs to be run as administrator. In th
compatibility box the "Run as Administrator is greyed out and can't b
clicked. Is this normal and how do I fix it???

I am the only user on the computer and an administrator. I am listed a
the owner of the file already if that helps

There are some commands, such as those the have the potential to compromise
memory, Kernal operations or other critical functions... which require full
(built-in) administrator. On Domain attached hosts this is even more likely,
requiring either Domain administrator or Enterprise administrator rights.

What does the program do? Is this a domain member host or stand alone? Is
your system subject to GP controls?

It is a game Beowulf. Although since I am an administrator I guess i
runs all programs as such, so no need for the check box. At least that
what I gather from some sources I've glanced at since I posted. The gam
runs so either way it's all good

As for GP controls and such, you went a little over my head with those
LOL. The game requires it to be run as XP SP 2 and is a peer to pee
based game with the server only connecting during game for stats an
vehicle respawning
