Runtime Error 2

For the past four or five days at start-up I've received
the following message:

Runtime error 2 at 00404087

I have no clue what the numbers are or what I have to do
to fix the problem. I don't even know if this is a
problem within the XP software.

Can someone please tell me what this is??
