SACD hybrid CD

Why doesn't my Windows Media Player Version 9 (Windows XP)
play a SACD hybrid CD while I can play it on my car CD
player. Is there an upgrad available?

Many DVD-ROM drives cannot "see" the CD layer, but a CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive can.
Hybrids play fine in my Sony VAIO.
