samsung cd-r/rw sw240B not reading

HI

Last night my cdrw stopped working. i put in disk
and light blinks, and it kicks it back out saying
insert "Please insert cd".

If i go to my computer, put in cd and click on the
proper drive...i get "I/O device error"

Anyone have any suggestions?
