Samsung DVD Player on Windows XP

Posted: 10-02-2003, 03:53 AM
Hello
A few days ago I was using my Samsung DVD player 616 that
came installed on my DELL built 4400. The power went out
and ever since then the DVD player wont play anything. A
message comes up that asks me to put a disc in the player
but there is always one in the tray.

My Windows XP machine recognizes the DVD player in the
correct drive but will not do anything. I uninstalled the
software and then reinstalled the program and the machine
recognized the hardware but won't play.

Any help with this?

Thank You
