Default Scroll touch pad stopped working

Well, another thing went wrong with my version of Vista. The scroll pads
stopped working. They were fine before, and I haven't changed drivers or
settings (I also double checked to see that it is enabled, and it is). Anyone
experience something similar?

On my I6000, the touch pad was extremely flaky. Sometimes it worked,
sometimes it didn't.

I downloaded the XP driver from Dell and installed it and it fixed
everything.

What country was your scroll pad made in?

I'm guessing it was made in Malaysia, because that's where the rest of my
laptop was built. Oh, and I installed Dell's drivers right after I installed
Vista, so this occured with the Dell drivers.

Default RE: Scroll touch pad stopped working

I figured out how to fix this a while ago. Just go to the Synaptics website
and download and install the touchpad driver.

Simple as that. Worked perfect after that
