SCSI Not Allowing Hibernation

Posted: 01-12-2004, 09:02 PM
Sure, could use some help as I have searched all over to
find a patch or fix to allow the hibernate function to get
by the SCSI/RAID won't allow XP to hibernate problem. My
current SCSI driver version (5.1.2600.1106) appears to
have the patch @msi.com under the via USB 2.0 called
viapatch.exe but after dnlding and extracting what becomes
viaehcx1.inf - I cannot get the device manager to update
this driver. I have read that this is caused by the
Microtek C3 slimscan. but not sure why the patch is
labeled USB 2 as this device is on a parallel port. Sorry
for long append, appreciate any help!!!
