I'm haveing the same type of problem running Vista Ultimate afte
downloading a Microsoft update. After the update and restart I wa
logged on to a temp profile because of this error

SearchIndexer.exe has terminated SearchProtocolHost.exe because i
appears to be hung

I attempted to try the solution suggested above but there isn't
"search indexer.exe" in the menu

Can anyone please help with this
