Sending images from My Pictures

If I try to send a BMP from My Pictures I get an option to downsize, but if I do the same with a JPEG I do not get the option, how do I correct this
In addition, and probably part of the same problem, if I right mouse click on a BMP I get a long list of options but when I do it to a JPEG I only get a shortlist

Can anybody help me?

The resizing utility here may help you...
