sending problem

How can I increase the number or size of the photo attachments sent? Right
now, I can only send 2 or 3 resized photos or 1 high definition shot with an
email. Otherwise the message is "undeliverable". Send & Receive gives message
0x8004210B - "operations 'timed out' while waiting for a response from the
server".
