How do I get rid of the separator page. I believe that's
the name for the page that comes out prior to a document
being printed and lists the user name, device, date, time,
etc. It always used to be called a banner page.

Thanks

We just upgraded a computer from windows 98 to xp pro and
the computer is now printing a separator page. We have
entered pscript.sep as a separator which is not supposed
to print this separator page, but it still does. Does
anyone know how to turn this off? Also, the computer
notified (with a pop-up) that the print job is complete
and I would like to know how to turn that off also.

Thanks.

I have the same problem. In an earlier posting to this group, I found the
suggestion to:

I am, however, unable to find any CSNW icon in the Control Panel. I am
using Windows XP, Home Edition. I would also like to know how one gets
around this.

Thanks,

Hi,

I want to set up a separator page onto our network printer. I would like
this separator page to be printed before any print job. What I would also
like is that the separator page indicates the name of the computer where the
print job originated. Has anyone any idea or developed a script for this
end?

This is very important. I hope someone can help me.

Thanks,
Riadh

Some printer drivers support separator pages automatically, check the user
manual for your printer and look for settings in the driver, it may already be
supported.

Ok I'll try that and will let you know. For information, the printer is an
HP LaserJet 4000n.

The Laserjet 4000 does support a separator page, at least it does with Windows
XP.
Open the print driver properties, select the Advanced tab, press Separator Page
(bottom right).
