I cannot install the latest service pack. I get a
message that says it is incompatible with the windows
version that I have.

I have the new office and cannot install it without the
service pack.

What should I do? I have tried to install it several
times.

Not sure what you mean by 'latest' service pack as there is only one. SP2
isn't scheduled for release until the 2nd quarter of next year. If you've
found some pre-release beta code on some dodgy P2P site, then you're not
going to find any assistance here.

I cannot install the sp1 or the sp1a service pack. I get
a message that it is not compatible with my current
version of windows. When I bought the computer it had
Home edition. I upgraded to Professional right away
for "home network" reasons.

Any suggestions for me? I disabled my virus software.

Instructions for use of the Beta Service Pack are included with it.
Please follow these.
If you have acquired the SP from an unofficial source - do not use it.
