Two thoughts - 1. Did you burn it as an "ISP" image? 2. Two versions were
available 32 and 64 bit. Did you download the correct version?

I downloaded the 64 bit. I can see all the files and file folders on the
DVD... but I keep getting a pop up window. Should I install the 32 bit?

Are you trying to upgrade from (32 bit) XP? you can't upgrade from 32 bit to
64 bit either use the 32 bit version of Vista or do a clean install.

The message I get is a pop up with the message that reads "your computer
cannot run this version of the Operating System"

Hi,

Sounds like you are trying to install the 64 bit version on 32 bit hardware.
No can do.
