Setting an alternate shell?

Posted: 11-27-2006, 07:32 PM
hi there,
im a long time Litestep user, and want to set the registry to load litestep
instead of explorer. in previous windows versions, this was as simple as
setting

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\IniFileMapping\system.ini\boot\s hell =
USR:Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell = C:\Litestep\Litestep.exe

but this doesnt seem to work in vista. could someone advise which registry
keys point to the shell? (for the record, litestep DOES work if you start it
manually, but this is gettign a little tiresome after every logoff...)
