Setting up two PC's to only use one copy of Nortons virus scanner and firewall

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anybody would be able to help me with
the following problem?

I have two computers that are connected via 10/100
ethernet via a 4 port adsl modem. At the moment each
computer access's the internet seperately. What I would
like too know is, is it possible to have one computer
accessing the internet through the other one therefore
using only one copy of Nortons Internet security products?

If this is possible then are there any downside (reduced
performance etc) in configuring the network this way?

Any help that anyone can provide would be appreciated.

Thanking all in advance

I don't know about the OP's Norton virus scanner
and firewall question, but multiple computers running
XP *can* share an ADSL connection. Here's how
I set it up:

Both computers are connected directly to an Ethernet
hub, and my ADSL modem is plugged into the uplink
port of the hub. When I used the "Network Setup
Wizard" to set up networking, I selected "This computer
connects directly to the Internet ..." for one computer,
and "This computer connects to the Internet through
another computer ..." for the other. Note: with this setup,
the "computer that connects directly to the Internet" must
be up and running in order for the other computer to be
able to access the Internet.
