Settings have changed ??? (ActiveX)

Posted: 07-24-2003, 10:13 PM
Hello all,

I'm not sure what I may have changed on my home PC running Windows XP Home
and IE 6.

All of a sudden, certain pages that I use to be able to display correctly,
won't let me anymore. When I try an open one of these pages (running
ActiveX) a error message displays saying:

"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page. As a result, this page may not display correctly."

How do I change these ActiveX settings back to the way they use to be? One
page that I run into this is while trying to use eBay (that is just one of
many examples, so it's not just eBay).

Thanks in advance for any advice to change these settings back to the way
they were.

Thanks again...

Right-click your browser icon, security tab, set your Internet zone to Medium. Empty
your cache too, on the general tab, delete files.
