setup a family of user profiles

Posted: 12-18-2004, 01:14 AM
I am setting up XP for myself, my wife and children.

I am going to create a user profile for each of us so that we can have a
customized look, and set the admin account to classic view (so that it is
significantly different from the others)

We use Outlook Express for e-mail, and all need access to the same 'dbx'
files. All of our documents are in folders on the 'D' partition, and we all
need access to those as well. How do I make these files and folders
available to all profiles?

What is the easiest way to add new shortcut icons to each profile (I will be
installing them from the admin profile)? Can I do it globally?
