\\Share\Admin$ won't let me change account name

Posted: 07-12-2003, 10:44 PM
When trying to connect to another computer on my workgroup using
\\sharename\admin$ or c$, the account name is set to \\sharename\guest and
is grayed out, so I am unable to change it.

My laptop is on another workgroup, and it can connect to anyone's computer
using the admin$ or c$ share, and I am able to type in my username and
password, it is not "guest"

Anyone got any clue how to fix this?

TIA
