Share drives and printers between XP and 98

I used to have both of my computers and printers sharing
their c: drives and printers accessible from either to
the other, but I have lost the settings when working on
the computer. They are connected via a Linksys router
and Windows XP home to 98 on the other. On the XP I
right-clicked on the C: drive then picked "sharing and
security" > "sharing tab", and then noted the "share this
folder" was already checked but the box "share name"
would not let me change it. The whole dialogue box does
not look the way the help instructions implied it would.
Can you advise me what else I should check to make this
work on each? The XP has 4 user profiles, of which I am
the administrator. Thanks.

On WinXP, the Drives are shared by default. you can create a new share name
by clicking on the New Share button and typing in the name that you wish to
share it as.
